Tend the Mother Gift Box
The Tend the Mother Gift Box was created with one simple intention: to tend to the mother.
So much attention is given to the baby during pregnancy and postpartum, while the woman who carried, birthed, and is now caring for that baby can easily become an afterthought. This box is a reminder that she deserves to be nourished, cared for, and held, too.
Each piece has been thoughtfully chosen to bring a little more nourishment, warmth, comfort, and ritual into the childbearing season. It is a collection meant to be used, enjoyed, and savoured—not just another box of things for the baby.
Inside you will find:
Bone & Bloom, a nourishing herbal tea created for pregnancy and the season of growth and building. Nettle, oatstraw, alfalfa, red raspberry leaf, and lemon balm come together in a mineral-rich blend inspired by the many kinds of growth happening during pregnancy—the growth of a baby, the building of blood, and the growth of a mother.
Blood & Milk, a warming herbal blend created for the postpartum season. Nettle, oatstraw, red raspberry leaf, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, and fennel come together in a deeply aromatic blend inspired by traditional postpartum practices of warmth, nourishment, and restoration.
Root & Veil, a botanical sitz bath blend inspired by traditional ways of tending to women around birth and postpartum. Comfrey, yarrow, shepherd’s purse, lavender, calendula, chamomile, and rose create a soothing experience for tender postpartum skin.
A lactation tea created by a fellow doula, thoughtfully selected to accompany the early postpartum and breastfeeding season.
A nourishing nipple balm for those tender early days of feeding.
A beautiful “Hold the Mother” mug—a reminder that while she is busy holding everyone else, she deserves to be held, too.
A reusable tea strainer for making loose-leaf teas and herbal infusions.
A beeswax tealight to bring a little warmth and ritual to quiet moments.
A letter to the mother, written as a reminder that she is worthy of care, rest, nourishment, and tenderness.
And a mother’s blessing card to honour the woman she is becoming and the threshold she is crossing.
Everything is packaged by hand and tucked into a keepsake box, ready to give as a baby shower gift, Mother’s Blessing gift, postpartum gift, or simply as a thoughtful way to say, “I see you, and I want you to be cared for, too.”
Because tending to the mother is never an afterthought.
It is part of tending to the whole family.
